Summer Camp at Camp Aquehonga, TMR

Troop 237 spent two wonderful weeks this summer at Camp Aquehonga of the Ten Mile River Scout Camps in Narrowsburg, NY. Throughout the weeks we had between 11 and 13 boys take advantage of the program, and have the time of their lives.

Below you see some photos of the Troop's encounter with Project C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience). One of the elements the boys were challenged with completing is depicted below. It is called The Wall, and after quite a bit of problem solving they were able to get every member of the Troop (including the adult leaders) over the 16 foot wall. For some, it was one of the highlights of their camp experience.

The members of Troop 237 struggle and succeed in getting Scoutmaster Martin Maher to the top of the 16 foot wall.

Scoutmaster Martin Maher lifts Scout Justin L. way into the air and over the wall.

Scout Joshua F. helps Scout Danny K. over the edge as he nears the top of the wall

Scout Phil C., with the help of the rest of the Troop, begins his assent of the wall
